→ Conserve water whenever possible → Install water saving devices → Use liquid laundry soap → Call us if you have a garbage disposal for recommendations → Do not flush pet waste, baby wipes, disposable diapers, feminine sanitary products, dental floss, paper towels, facial tissues, coffee grounds or anything else that could clog your septic system → Maintain your septic system on a regular basis, every 1-5 years. Call us to discuss your use and we will recommend a schedule. Pumping the tank removes the sludge retained in the tank and will help prevent impact on the leaching area. → Septic tank should be marked or location written down for future reference → Keep leaching area trimmed. Prune trees to allow southern exposure when possible.
